2012 Walk-In Registration @ LOHS

The second and final Walk-in Registration is this Sunday Feb 12 from 11am - 3pm at LOHS Pool Lobby.

Parents and players are welcome. You will have the opportunity to try on uniforms and ask questions of Board members and Commissioners alike.

Parent Night Meeting - March 20th

The Parent Night meeting is March 20th 7 - 9pm in the KIVA at LOHS. (Down the stairs from the cafeteria)

We've simplified the draft process by using a computer generated randomized roster (aka "blind draft"). It's completely random, unbiased and efficient. We'll also introduce the new "Select" baseball program, comprised of LOBL players looking for more competitive play during the regular season.

This meeting is for all parents interested in learning about the upcoming 2012 season and offers an opportunity to share ideas and ask questions of the League Board members and divisional Commissioners.

2012 LOBL Scholarships

Each year, LOBL presents up to 4 scholarships to Seniors that have been associated with the LOBL.

All Applications must be postmarked on/before May 11, 2012.

LOHS Baseball/Softball Euchre Party

The LOHS Baseball and Softball Teams are holding a fund raiser Euchre Tournament. The event will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Saturday Feb 25th, 2012. Dinner starts at 6PM, Euchre at 7PM. Tickets are $25.

As many of you know, Andy Schramek and the LOHS varsity Baseball Coaching Staff support our league in many ways, including coaches clinics and player camps. Please show your support by purchasing a ticket (or two!) and attending what’s sure to be a great time for our high school sports programs.

Field Closures and Rainout Policy

When it rains (or other severe weather occurs), the fields are assessed around noon and the Hotline is updated by 3pm typically. If you have any doubts about TWP fields being closed due to weather conditions, please call the Twp. Hotline at: 248 393 7040.

NOTE: Once we begin games (not practices), there may be times when the Twp. fields are CLOSED, but school fields are OPEN. Thus, some games will be cancelled (e.g. those played at Friendship Park) and some will not be cancelled (e.g. those played at Orion Oaks).

Your coach should notify you of cancellations. Otherwise, you should show up ready to ... play ball!
