2012 Memorial Day ParadeTo All Lake Orion Baseball League players and parents,
Memorial Day in Lake Orion is more than just a holiday--it's a great opportunity to honor our veterans and active military members by participating in the annual Lake Orion Memorial Day Parade. All Lake Orion Baseball League players, coaches and parents are encouraged to take part in the parade--in their team uniforms.
Please consider taking part in the parade as a way of giving back to our community sponsors, volunteers and especially to our veterans and those fighting for our freedoms every day around the world.

Field Closures and Rainout PolicyWhen it rains (or other severe weather occurs), the fields are assessed around noon and the Hotline is updated by 3pm typically. If you have any doubts about TWP fields being closed due to weather conditions, please call the Twp. Hotline at: 248 393 7040.
NOTE: Once we begin games (not practices), there may be times when the Twp. fields are CLOSED, but school fields are OPEN. Thus, some games will be cancelled (e.g. those played at Friendship Park) and some will not be cancelled (e.g. those played at Orion Oaks).

Picture Day - Sunday, May 1st
All coaches will be able to pick-up uniforms this Friday and will be distributed prior to Sunday. We will also have our annual "pants swap" on sight at Picture Day if we need to exchange some sizes. Please bring clean pants to swap :-) ...The Picture Day location is the same as last year, at Civic Center Park near where Johnson Field was previously located.
Spirit Wear is now up and running!
This year we are also offering a LOYBL Window Decal with our new logo as shown above. Show your support by placing one of these on your car's rear window! Orders must be submitted by midnight on May 8th!
SAFETY ISSUE!
For those divisions that are playing at Orion Oaks fields, please keep vehicles on the parking surfaces away from the playing fields. We have many young kids that play in the area and a huge number of vehicles that have been parking on the grass, this creates a very dangerous situation.... I appreciate you cooperation.
BW3 Fundraiser!!!
Our Annual BW3 Fundraiser is this Sunday.... This is always a fun event and 20% of your purchases will go towards LOYBL! JUST BRING PRINTED COPY OF THIS FLIER WITH YOU TO BW3 and show support for your baseball family....hope to see many of you there!
